Fear will kick off the second you even think<\/em> about doing something different. Fear of failing, fear of what people will say, fear that you\u2019ll swap one nonsense situation for another. But here\u2019s the truth: courage isn\u2019t about erasing fear. It\u2019s about acting anyway. Even small moves count. Updating your CV. Saying no without adding seventeen apologies. Deciding you deserve more than just getting through the week fuelled by caffeine and quiet resentment.<\/p>

Coaching-wise, the shift happens when you stop treating failure like a death sentence and start treating it like proof you tried. When you realise discomfort isn\u2019t punishment, it\u2019s just the awkward middle bit between \u201cstuck\u201d and \u201cthriving.\u201d And when you actually connect with your why<\/em> \u2014 the bigger reason behind the change \u2014 suddenly the fear feels less like a wall and more like an irritating speed bump.<\/p>

And yes, you\u2019ll need support. But let\u2019s be real \u2014 not from the colleague who tells you to \u201cjust be grateful you\u2019ve got a job.\u201d Find the people who get it, the ones who won\u2019t let you settle. And trust yourself: you\u2019ve handled office politics, passive-aggressive emails, and performance reviews with fake smiles. You can handle change.<\/p>

So, start where you are. Ask yourself what\u2019s working, what isn\u2019t, and what\u2019s absolutely not worth another year of your life. The courage isn\u2019t in knowing exactly where you\u2019re going \u2014 it\u2019s in deciding you\u2019re not prepared to keep wasting time on nonsense.<\/p>
